The only thing missing is some sort of collaborative Team-Mail Client like Spark, Missive, Front and the sorts. ![]() ![]() So, I am currently setting up an array of self hosted solutions for our dev team including chat, wiki, etc. Self-Hosted Team-Email (like Missive, Spark, Front). In order to deal with email anxiety they also do scheduled email times to reduce interruptions and have. I think it's nice because I find younger people get anxious when they receive an email and this reframes it as something manageable. They set up email so it is more like a to-do list which operates on the same principle as the inbox zero method. I found Spark's newest version of their email platform interesting. Spark is the absolute best for this, I have been using it for years. Multi-platform tool to tame multiple email accounts Recommend a paid but non-encrypted email service?įWIW, I generally use a third party app (namely Spark) on iOS and MacOS. I think it can fulfill all the requirements you listed. On occasion I've also had to reset the product due to it not functioning at all.I use Spark Mail. Boomerang can be used from within an open message, from the inbox, or from within a folder in Gmail. For example sometimes scheduled mail is not sent as it should be or not sent at all. The only cons I've came across are occasionally inconsistencies or errors. This product also tells me rather or not outgoing mail was read, very helpful for any email campaigns or email marketing/advertising! CONS I can set up emails to be sent back to me preventing important threads from getting lost in my inbox. When using this feature I'm able to choose specifically which inboxes are paused, it dosent have to be all or none which is so convenient. It is very easy to use and works wonderfully with Gmail! The main pro for me is the ability to set reminders and schedule outgoing mail (rather it be a new thread or a response) I can also pause an inbox if I'm away or busy and set boomerang to automatically respond. I like so many things about this product. The price is affordable and the value for money is great. This tool is wonderful for anyone who uses email for work, it is especially useful if you have multiple inboxes or a high volume of mail. ![]() Boomerang is a Gmail extension that sends emails back to the original sender once read. or integrate with other apps like Boomerang to schedule emails in advanced. It's great for those looking to bring their email marketing campaigns back with a sense of urgency. If youre going to be using alternative or additional Gmail apps, you dont. There are plenty of boomerang gmail alternative and some of them are mentioned here in this article. My overall experience has been positive and I am very happy with this product. ![]() If only, I heard about this when I started my career in recruitment, everything should have been a walk in the park! Maybe what I least like is the price, and why I just learnt it a year ago. With Boomerang, we have successfully met 100% compliance in sending out turn down emails, notification or reminder emails, and office-wide campaigns easily. Other important factors to consider when researching alternatives to Boomerang for Gmail include meetings and emails. Send an email later - With Boomerang, you can write an email now and schedule it to be sent automatically at the perfect time. With Boomerang, it resolved that problem because instead of pending that responsibility and jotting it down to a sticky note, you can just do it now and pend it being sent to whatever day and time you would want it to go out. Boomerang for Gmail is a Firefox, Chrome and Safari plugin that lets you take control of when you send and receive email messages. We resorted to using sticky notes before, but it is unsuccessful because sometimes sticky notes are not that too sticky and they fly away, and there arises complaints of being unprofessional from candidates we failed to give an update. If you did, well you're lucky! It is a bottleneck to get things done in recruitment if you're speaking of email commitments such as sending email blasts for next week, or sending turn down to a candidate you just interviewed after a week or sending a candidate for final interview a day before his set schedule. In recruitment, you seldom get just less than 20 emails per day. I get a lot of awards and thank yous from candidates and they see our business as very responsive and professional because we never failed to update them regarding their next steps or whether or not they got the post. Without Boomerang it will be hard for me to keep up with my commitment in getting back to candidates, and letting them know what they need to do or where they need to proceed a day before their interview. Overall, Boomerang has been an angel for me.
